Payment Options

If the lender/client requests that AXIS manage appraisal payments, AXIS provides the following payment options for borrowers:

• Check or Money Order - Please ensure that all checks are made payable to AXIS.  Appraisals will not be released to the lender until payment is received.
• Credit Card - A convenient payment option, that allows appraisals to be released immediately upon completion.  We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
• Paypal - contact accounting@axis-amc.com to arrange. 

Is it safe?

Of course! AXIS is protected by industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. This means that every sensitive communication between your computer and our web server is scrambled. So if any payment data gets illegally intercepted, it's completely unreadable. You can be sure that paying electronically is just as safe as doing business anywhere else on the Internet.

Naturally, if you just prefer not to enter your credit card info online, you're welcome to give us the card number over the phone.  We want to make sure we're doing business in way that makes you comfortable.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

If an order is canceled prior to the property inspection, there is a non-refundable cancelation fee of $15. If an order is canceled after the property has been inspected, 50% of the fee is refundable.  Refunds will be processed within 15 days of a cancelation. 

Once the appraiser has delivered the report to AXIS, the entire fee is non-refundable, regardless of the opinion of value or completion of the loan process.  You are paying for the service of having an expert determine value.  Once that service is underway, costs are incurred.

  Privacy Policy

The information provided when an appraisal order is placed is used only to complete the appraisal order. Information deemed necessary to complete the assignment, including but not limited to the contact information for parties of the mortgage transaction, will be shared with the appraiser only and will not be passed on to any other 3rd party. At no time is this information used for any other purpose. To prevent unauthorized access to this information, the appraisal order form is secured by 128-bit secure socket layer encryption. We also employ proper physical and managerial processes to ensure the information is safeguarded. Any questions or concerns about this privacy policy should be directed to info@axis-amc.com.
